Visa Free Belarus
Visa-free entry
Foreign citizens have the right to enter the territory of the Republic of Belarus without a visa in cases and within the time limits established by the concluded international bilateral agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the country of which the foreigner is a citizen. Current information about agreements is posted on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
Required documents:
- 1A valid passport or other document replacing it, intended for traveling abroad.
- 2A health insurance contract covering the territory of the Republic of Belarus and providing for an insured amount of at least 10,000 euros.
- 3Cash in an amount equivalent to at least 2 basic values established in the Republic of Belarus for each day of stay.
Visa-free entry through the checkpoint at Minsk National Airport
Citizens of 76 countries can come to the Republic of Belarus for tourism purposes without a visa through the checkpoint at Minsk National Airport for a period of no more than 30 days (including the day of arrival and departure).
Required documents:
- 1A valid general passport, the validity of which must exceed the date of intended departure from the Republic of Belarus by at least 90 days.
- 2Cash: for each day of stay an amount in foreign currency or Belarusian rubles equivalent to at least 2 basic units, or 50 basic units if the stay is 30 days.
- 3Medical insurance policy in the amount of at least 10,000 euros, valid in Belarus for the entire period of stay.
Conditions:
- The period of stay in the Republic of Belarus should not exceed 30 days.
- The day of arrival and the day of departure are included in the days of stay in the Republic of Belarus.
- Entering and leaving the Republic of Belarus is possible through checkpoints Minsk National Airport, Brest Airport, Vitebsk Airport, Gomel Airport, Grodno Airport, Mogilev Airport.
- The established procedure for visa-free travel through the checkpoint at Minsk National Airport does not apply to persons arriving in the Republic of Belarus on flights from the Russian Federation, as well as those intending to fly to airports of the Russian Federation.
- The visa-free regime does not apply to holders of diplomatic, official, special and other equivalent passports.
- For citizens of Vietnam, Haiti, Gambia, Egypt, India, Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Namibia, Pakistan, Samoa, South Africa, a mandatory additional requirement is that the document for traveling abroad contains a valid multiple visa from the EU or Schengen area with a note entry into their territory, as well as air tickets with confirmation of departure from the Minsk National Airport or the airports of Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev within 30 days from the date of entry.
Important: Foreigners arriving in the Republic of Belarus are required to register within ten days with the registration authority at the place of actual temporary stay or on the website of the single portal of electronic services portal.gov.by. When staying in hotels, hostels, sanatoriums and other collective accommodation facilities registration foreign citizens are carried out by the administrations of such institutions according to default upon check-in.
Visa-free entry to visit the visa-free territory «Brest – Grodno»
Citizens of 73 countries can come to the Republic of Belarus for tourism purposes without a visa for up to 15 days to visit the visa-free territory «Brest – Grodno» (Brest, Brest, Zhabinkovsky, Kamenets, Pruzhansky districts of the Brest region, Grodno, Berestovitsky, Volkovysk, Voronovsky, Grodno, Lida, Svisloch, Shchuchinsky districts of the Grodno region).
When visiting the visa-free territory «Brest-Grodno» in a group, the group can also visit areas of the Grodno and Brest regions that are not part of the visa-free territory. A prerequisite is that the tourist route passes through the visa-free territory of Brest-Grodno.
For a temporary stay in the visa-free territory «Brest – Grodno» in a visa-free regime, entry into the Republic of Belarus and exit from the Republic of Belarus is carried out:
- At road checkpoints Brest (Terespol), Domachevo (Slovatichi), Benyakoni (Shalchininkai), Berestovitsa (Bobrovniki), Peschatka (Polovtsy), Privalka (Rajgardas);
- At railway checkpoints Brest (Terespol) — railway station Brest-Vostochny, Grodno (Kuznitsa Belostotskaya) — Grodno railway station;
- At the checkpoints of Brest Airport and Grodno Airport;
- At simplified checkpoints Pererov (Belovezha), Lesnaya (Rudavka) , Privalka (Shvyandubre).
Required documents:
- 1A valid passport or other document replacing it, intended for traveling abroad.
- 2Documents granting citizens the right to individual or group visits to the visa-free territory "Brest - Grodno" (a special QR code that is issued after purchasing a ticket and is issued for an additional fee) .
- 3A health insurance contract covering the territory of the Republic of Belarus and providing for an insured amount of at least 10,000 euros.
- 4Cash in an amount equivalent to at least 2 basic amounts established in the Republic of Belarus for each day of stay.
Conditions:
- The duration of stay in the visa-free territory «Brest – Grodno» must correspond to the duration of the tour implemented by the tour operator.
- The duration of the tour, including when it is extended, should not exceed 15 days.
- Citizens entering the Republic of Belarus on the basis of a document granting the right to visit the visa-free territory "Brest - Grodno" are required to stay only in the territory of the visa-free territory "Brest - Grodno".
Please note that entry is only possible if you have a document granting the right to visit the visa-free zone (QR code). Please inform us about the need to complete this document at the initial stages of booking.

In all other cases, foreign citizens can visit the Republic of Belarus only with a visa.
